Objectives:
- Training to meet the criteria of the Sustainable Arctic
Tourism Label
- Encourage companies to understand the impact of their
tourism operations on the environment
- Learn to evaluate the consumption of resources throughout
the natural life cycle of the business: from development,
start-up and on-going full operation
- Provide operators with suggested means of reducing
their use of natural resources and their impact on the
environment
Outline:
- Adhering to legislation and identifying local wildlife/environmental
authorities.
