TRAINING MODULE 2: OPERATES ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND RESPONSIBLE MANNER


Objectives:

  • Training to meet the criteria of the Sustainable Arctic Tourism Label
  • Encourage companies to understand the impact of their tourism operations on the environment
  • Learn to evaluate the consumption of resources throughout the natural life cycle of the business: from development, start-up and on-going full operation
  • Provide operators with suggested means of reducing their use of natural resources and their impact on the environment
